Lead Generation System for Networkers, Part 2
Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 04:29PM In part 1 of this article on Lead Generation Systems for Networkers we talked about the importance of having an effective Lead Generation System.
We discussed the fact that what worked ten years ago in Network Marketing does not work today. So if you are still being told by your upline to make a list of everyone you know and then invite them to some meeting at your place . . . well, quite frankly, you are getting the wrong advice.
Most of the so called heavy hitters that teach their downline to follow an old school style system like this do not actually follow it themselves. In Australia there are some well-known Network Marketers who achieved their success in the business through the investment of massive amounts of money into telemarketing. So they had a lead generation system in place, even though they were teaching a different system to the masses.
If you want to achieve great success in Network Marketing today, then your focus on a lead generation system that literally attracts your clients to you - is vital.
What is the key ingredient though that makes a Lead Generation system work?
Hmmmm, this is the magical component of Lead Generation . . .
Many people who attempt to create a Lead Generation System fail to build in this magical component. Without it, any Lead Generation System will fail.
With it, your Lead Generation System can produce incredible results.
I will tell you what this magical component is in a moment, but first let me tell you about Mr. Fire.
Mr. Fire is none other than Joe Vitale. You may have seen him on the hit movie, The Secret.
Joe became famous when he wrote a book called the Spiritual Guide To Marketing. It’s a great book, and you may want to get it and study it.
In this book, Joe talks about his basic core philosophy of marketing - which is this: Give first.
That's right . . . you want to give first. Then by universal law, you will receive. The more you give, the more you receive. The amazing thing is that you always receive so much more than what you gave in the first place.
Joe says that the key to unlock the magic is to give freely without expectation of return. If you do this consistently over time, you will open the flood gates to receiving.
This is an amazing concept.
Is this what most networkers do with their Lead Generation Systems?
No, of course not.
The mistake most people make with their Lead Generation Systems is that they try and shove their opportunity down people’s throats.
Think about it . . . it’s not very attractive is it?
Nobody wants to feel pressured to join an opportunity.
