The Importance of the Follow-Up

Here is more information on my favorite offline tool: Send Out Cards. It helps me stay in touch with my clients on a regular basis ... and I never miss their birthdays!

If you are in business today then this could be the most important article you have read in a long while. Why? It will explain to you why your past marketing efforts may not have worked and how to improve them in the future.

As a small business owner, you will know that the most important thing you can do today is to find a new customer or client. If you don't have the ability to attract and keep new clients, you will not remain in business for long. This is exactly the problem I was having. I would generate new leads for my business . . .  and I would fail to follow up with them. I would find a few clients, and I would not keep in touch with them. I missed out on valuable referrals that I could have received.

I would do a great job for my clients, and I would gradually not stay in touch once I had finished working with them, so I never received repeat business. That's exactly why my first network marketing business fizzled.
