Think and Grow Rich Chapter Four Auto-Suggestion ... My Thoughts
Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 09:16PM What Hill says about concentrating on our desires until they become a burning obsession really hit home. Lately, my mind has been telling me to find time to be still. I haven't done it yet, but now I'm going to take my mind up on that suggestion. Just being quiet enough to picture what I'm obsessing and desiring and dreaming for with all the emotions and good feelings I can, along with action and much effort, is the way to get there. It's easier not to do this sometimes, but it's worth it to do it. If we want something with all our heart, we'll do what Hill suggests.
I have found that it also helps to use autosuggestion positively when helping others for the sold purpose of giving value. No agenda. No go-taking. Just giving. At school, it's now, "How can I help this student?" "What can I do to add value to his or her life?" Thinking like this takes the pressure ... any pressure ... away. No more worrying about if I'm good enough or if I'm liked enough, or anything. Having no agenda helps everything. And it keeps my mind from too much chatter and worry. It's calmer and allows me to focus on my dreams instead of what "they" are thinking or doing and all that wasted thought.

I'm keeping the self-talk going. One hundred times a day! I'm concentrating on my dreams over and over and over again with powerful emotion. I love it when I get in that zone. Nothing feels better than excitement about what I truly desire.
It is not our job to transform the world for others, but rather to transform it for us by looking at the things and people we love and concentrating on the "things" that shine bright for us and that make us feel good.
When we are giving attention and tuning into who-we-are and applying Hills suggestions, the whole world will begin to transform before our eyes because we're applying the principles of autosuggestion all the way: over and over and over and over again until our mind really gets it AND believes it.
Aloha,
