Think and Grow Rich - Organized Planning
Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 09:17PM Mentoring for Free has the first step Hill talks about in Chapter Seven: a Master Mind group that meets several times a week on training calls, a fireside chat call, and two mental cleanse calls. We have an organized plan: The Recipe. One, two, three ... It's easy to follow and teach to our team and new members. If something doesn't work, it gets changed until it does work.
I loved reading about Henry Ford and how he felt defeat when he was far toward the top in his business. What did he do? Created new plans! And marched on to financial victory. Those sentences tell me that just because I ... or you or anyone ... may seem to fall on their face, it isn't over if they stand up and do whatever it is they have to do to Get-Back-There. Desire, Action, A Plan. We may think we've lost it all, but we haven't! In fact, it may just be the best thing in the world to have happened because it's going to be better than ever as we work our way back with our plan, desire, and actions.
Hill talks about followers and leaders. In Mentoring for Free, we learn to follow first, and then we naturally become leaders. It just happens. Magic. It's the recipe, the steps, the Master Mind group, the encouragement, and our own growth and belief in ourselves that allows this to happen.
Because we work without an agenda in Mentoring for Free, we are free of competitive fears and doubt. We cooperate and work with others in our group. We help each other full-on. And because of all of this, we can let our imagination work for us.
We have "whys" and "self-talks" and we know exactly what we want in our life. It may change as We grow and change, but that's the best part! We can change our plans to make them Work-for-Us.
I'll end with my favorite line in the chapter: Step up to the front, select what you want, create your plan, put the plan into action, and follow through with persistence.
Wow!
