Helping Your Team to be All In
Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 02:27PM The rewards are many once you have established a strong network marketing team. Not only do you have the added benefits of people working together, but you also now have a brand new reason for people to join with you – something extra. You'll be working together to reach your team's vision.
Watch Closely as Your MLM Team Develops
Practice observing your group with a marketer’s eye. Pay special attention to the features and benefits that truly appeal to you and ask a lot of questions of team members and prospects. Remember the reasons that prospects are considering MLM with your company are probably very close to the reasons that brought you to the group. The more time you take to understand these reasons, the stronger your presentation to MLM prospects will become. When you reach out to help others get what they need, and you don't have an agenda, but truly want to help them, then you will feel better and so will they. The whole atmosphere changes when you aren't desperate to "bring someone in." Help your clients get what they want ...
Become An Expert on MLM Teams.
Learn all that you can possibly learn on how a team is put together. Discover new ways for a newcomer to use the team – ways that no one else has discovered. Ask yourself what would be the emotional appeal to your MLM prospect of having a team. The more that you learn, the more powerful you will be in championing team ideas to potential MLM prospects.
Use the Wisdom of Your Own Team Experiences
The concept to any team or group is that all members are aligned to achieve a common goal. Utilize the experiences you have had in life as part of a team or group. Take time to remember the emotions you felt and the fun that you had. Write down a few meaningful and appropriate stories from those times and tell them as part of your support to your prospects. Having a clear understanding of the nature of your team is the key to effective promotion.
You want your team to know that they won’t be out there “doing it all by themselves.”
Bring Your Team Together so They’ll Be All In
People want to feel like they belong. Follow-up and talk with your team on a regular basis. When you have team calls or group calls, people can learn from each other. When your teammates listen and help each other, that feeling of belonging helps others to “be all in.” If you have team calls, have your team bring their potential prospects on the calls, too, so they can see that they won’t be alone if they join and that they’ll have a team of people cheering them on and helping them.
Follow these suggestions and your team and potential prospects will find out that they don’t have to sink or swim being on your team!
